This page will give you information about various ways that you can get involved in Cincinnati, Greater Cincinnati, and other areas of the U.S.

Fall Feast
Fall Feast is a FREE meal and celebration hosted by a group of partners including Give Back Cincinnati and the City Gospel Mission at the Duke Energy Convention Center every year from 10 a.m to 2 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day. Check often to learn about the opportunities to volunteer in 2011.
The most meaningful 'gift' we can give during the holiday season is our time, sitting and sharing with others who may not have as much or need encouragement.

Princesses Ballet

Combining grace, discipline and worship, the Princesses Ballet team helps young girls build confidence in themselves and their faith. The discipline required to perform ballet helps the children learn a strong work ethic while building character and self-esteem.
Children in Princesses Ballet share their faith and practice discipleship. They receive valuable spiritual guidance and caring support that helps them grow in relationship with Jesus Christ and choose the right paths in life.
A strong focus of this unique ministry is on creating lasting relationships between kids, parents, and churches. This gives youth ongoing support and encouragement as they grow into adults, and in relationship with Jesus.

For more information about Princesses Ballet, contact Gordon Havens at (513) 345-1040 or ghavens@citygospelmission.org.

Give Back Cincinnati (Developing today's communities and tomorrow's leaders.)
Give Back Cincinnati started in December 2000 with a small group of friends that wanted to give back to their community. Since our first event, that small group of friends has grown to over 5000 members (representing 400 companies) and continues to provide young people in Cincinnati with an outlet where they can have fun, meet people, and give back to their community all at the same time.

The Outlet

Hundreds of homeless people are currently living in downtown Cincinnati with little or no available daily activities. They need a comfortable place where they do not have to worry about violence or drug abuse and can build healthy friendships with positive, caring adults. The Outlet offers a solution.

The Outlet is a safe, fun place of recreation for homeless men and women in Cincinnati. Every Saturday morning we host games, activites, a coffee shop and promote positive longterm relationships for over 100 guests. Often, local musicians provide entertainment during the Outlet and volunteers create art with the guests. We celebrate life and the positive steps our guests are taking that lead to life change.

The Outlet happens every Saturday morning and on the 1st Sunday of each month in the afternoon.

The Outlet is made possible through a partnership with OneCity. For more information about The Outlet please contact Robin Wagner at volunteer@citygospelmission.org or call (513) 345-1026.
